Application Processing Fee For Cluster University Srinagar

i. For General Category Candidates	Rs.2000/-
ii. Candidates belonging to SC/ST Category	Rs. 1500/-

Printout of the online employment application form self-attested by the candidate is to be submitted compulsorily along with a fee receipt as application 1’ee. Payment of application fee can be made only through a link available on university website www.cusrinagar.edu.in Printout of the online employment application form along with all required documents may either be delivered personally or sent by post to the Registrar Cluster University of Srinagar, Gogji Bagh, Srinagar, 190008 by or before 7th’ of December, 2024.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA For Cluster University Srinagar

i. Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. Relaxation of 5% for the categories mentioned above is permissible, based on the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.

ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, such as SLET/SET. Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, and their amendments from time to time, are exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.

Provided that candidates registered for the Ph.D. program prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Byelaws/Regulations of the institution awarding the degree, and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions, subject to the fulfillment of the following:

• The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode.
• The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners.
• An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted.
• The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, of which at least one is in a refereed journal.
• The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC, ICSSR, CSIR, or any similar agency.

The fulfillments of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar of the Dean Academic affairs / Controller of Examinations of the university concerned.

Steps to Apply for CUS Recruitment 2024

• Before applying for a post, candidates are advised to satisfy themselves about their eligibility.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• In-service candidates shall route their applications through the proper channel, which should reach the office by or before the conduct of the interviews. However, they must submit an advance copy of the printout of the online application form before the last date.
• Applications not accompanied by the following supporting and self-attested documents shall be rejected summarily:

i. High School certificate from a recognized board

ii. Marks sheet and degree of graduation

iii. Marks sheet and degree of post-graduation

iv. Certificate of NET/JRF/SET/SLET/CSIR, etc.

v. M.Phil/Ph.D. degree certificate, wherever applicable

vi. Experience certificates, wherever applicable

vii. Category certificate, if any, duly authenticated by the concerned authority

viii. Any other certificates/documents as required under qualifications

• The eligibility of candidates will be determined as of the last date fixed for submission of online employment application forms.
• Any change of address given in the application form should be communicated to the University immediately.
• The University shall verify the antecedents/documents submitted by the candidates at the time of appointment or at any time during the tenure of service. In case it is detected that the documents submitted are fake or the candidate has clandestine antecedents/background and has suppressed this information, their services shall be terminated forthwith without assigning any reason.
• The University will not be responsible for any postal delay.
• In case the last date fixed for submission of the printout of the online employment application form is declared a holiday/closed day, the next working day shall be deemed to be the last date for submitting the forms.
• In case of any dispute, any suit or legal proceedings against the University shall be restricted to the Courts at Srinagar, J&K.
